Hi, How are you? I'm pretty well. During last two week, I spent extraordinary life. My dear cousin was coming to NY from Japan and we had the trip to Canada. We went to Niagara Falls and Toront city. Niagara Falls were so beautiful. After my cousin going back to Japan, My family and I flied to California. We traveled to LA and San Diego. I could meet my old friend in San Diego. So I was so happy to see my precious cousin and friend and spend a lot of time with my family these days.
During the trip, we ate a lot of delicious foods in each place. Eating local foods is one of our favorite things! They were steak, sea food, sweets, pizza, brrito, and so on. It was wonderful experience but sometimes I needed my stomach make rest and wanted to eat Japanese food. And also I was worried about my son's food. He usually eats Japanese food at home and he doesn't like to try new food so I add new foods carefully. During the trip the food is totally changed so it bothers me.
This time I carried mini rice cooker which my cousin brought from Japan. It was so good!! We could eat brown rice wherever we go. Also I brought seaweed, handmade furikake rice seasoning, dried furicake rice seasoning, "Umeboshi" pickled ume, cans of tuna, soy sauce, and miso soup paste. So I made rice-balls every morning during the trip and carried. My son ate them so that made me happy :)

Umeboshi are benefical for gastrointestinal troubles, constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, lack of appetite, nausea, and vomiting. I recommend you to eat when you have these troubles.
